As an art director, Olivia spent years searching for the right locations for photoshoots – exploring England, Europe and around the world for the perfect setting. This gave her a view of architecture - both interior and exterior - that brings an understanding and sensitivity to the creative use of space.
The ingredients for Olivia’s perfect interior? “Great light, and great flow”.
Working with interiors much in the same way she works with humans, Olivia’s core philosophy lies in maintaining the sense of soul and self within an interior space.
“When I go into a home, I ask the people living there ‘what in this room really matters to you?’
I take those elements and work out how to make the space comfortable and modern, but most importantly how I retain that crucial essence of the person living here, and the way they want to live.”
Seahorse Cottage
Aldeburgh, UK
An iconic cottage on the seafront in Aldeburgh, Seahorse Cottage is successfully let to holiday makers who want to enjoy the bright Scandi interiors and explore the North Sea coastline.
We completely redesigned and modernised the building to create 2 bedrooms and a sunny open plan living and cooking space with balcony and terrace facing the sea.
Furnished with modern and vintage details with Olivia’s distinctive handwriting that creates a special home full of comfort and style.

EDO Restaurant
Varel, Germany
An extensive project to update and expand a coastal Gasthof in North Germany and create an haute-cuisine restaurant.
The interior was a blank canvas which Olivia has loaded with clever ideas and high quality design pieces.
Working closely with the Head Chef, she has created a unique dining experience and an exciting destination.

Sealoft
Aldeburgh, UK
A total redesign and refurb project of an out-of-date holiday let in Aldeburgh to create a modern, airy loft space.
We reconstructed the space to create a second bedroom and open-plan living area opening onto the unique roof terrace overlooking the beach.
Olivia has styled the rooms in her inimitable style with personal artworks, fine lighting and mid-centry classics.

An inner London maisonette which was on the market for some time before Olivia was engaged to revitalise the space and increase market appeal.
The result is a modernised and fully furnished flat that sold immediately.

Das SCHORTENS Hotel
Friesland, Germany
An ongoing project working with developers of a fully accessible hotel complex in the fast-growing region of Friesland, North Germany.
Olivia has helped to develop the overall plan to create 40 individual studio flats and hotel facilities.
The film has been produced and directed by her as a promotional sales aid to invite investors to discover the region and invest in its future.
The show flat has been fully furnished and styled to entice purchasers to buy off-plan.
Olivia has collaborated with London artist Paul Wearing, and a successful German furniture retailer to create a lifestyle vision as a template for the future development.

Abbey Hall
Eye, Suffolk UK
Set in 10 acres of natural watermeadows in Suffolk, Abbey Hall is a brick built brew house. Constructed by Benedictine monks on the site of the medieval priory of St Peter.
We have resurrected the building as an events space and creative project location used for exhibitions, dance and music performances as well as weddings and celebrations.
Adjoining buildings were converted to provide a modern, light-filled eco home for our family.
Seahorse Studio

On the Aldeburgh seafront, this studio unit in a converted workshop is designed to be fully accessible - with wheelchair access from the street.
The interior is well-insulated and uses modern materials to create a warm and practical interior with state of the art infrared heating.
The stylish interior is a clever mix of modernist design and timeless classics.

Local artisan products combined with innovative furnishings and the owner’s green touch make it a popular and relaxing place to find the sun.

Five revived farm buildings and barns, converted by a local farming family to the highest specs were styled by Olivia for photography for a new brand and promotional website by Heat Design.
The best lighting, furniture and fittings come together to create a highly aspirational destination for country parties.
